This is one of the oldest parish churches of Chianti, situated on a hilltop overwhelming a wide part of the Pesa and Arbia valleys. S. Maria novella was restored in the nineteenth century. The interior preserves columns topped by splendidly decorated capitals, a font, an altar piece, and a lovely astral crucifix.
