Panzano is situated in the very heart of Chianti. The castle was probably built by Ricasoli Firidolfi after the castles of Montegrossi and Brolio.
The Castle still has its original tower dominating the surrounding landscape. Under the tower we can see a majestic gate.
Near the castle we admire the church of S. Maria Assunta, some ancient houses bearing the heraldic of Firidolfi, a small square and a picturesque arch.
