Typical flat cake of sugar and pines. Ingredients: 3 glasses of pines, a glass of sugar, grated orange-peel. Cook all the ingredients together preferably in a copper pot and stir constantly till the sugar is caramelled.
Pour the preparation on a slab of marble previously greased with oil, giving it a round shape with the help of two half oranges in order not to burn your fingers. Alternatively use some aluminium baking-tins greased with oil.
